I'm running low on storage in my macbook air and I have already moved all my music and pictures off of it and onto a hard drive. It still says start up disk is full. Is there a way that I can transfer my Sims 4 on to an external hard drive, play it, and save it to the external hard drive?

Can I Run The Sims 4?
The Sims 4 system requirements are very accessible - you should be able to run the game on most modern PCs and laptops. The cheapest graphics card you can play it on is an ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO. But, according to the developers, the recommended graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650. To play The Sims 4 you will need a minimum CPU equivalent to an Intel Core 2 Duo T7600. Whereas, an Intel Core i5-4460T is recommended in order to run it. The minimum memory requirement to meet The Sims 4 specs is 2 GB of RAM, but the developers recommend 4 GB. In terms of game file size, you will need at least 20 GB of free disk space available.
EA recently released a Sims 4 Steam edition, in addition to the game being available through Origin. The game is available through the EA Play subscription program too.
As the game has pretty low requirements, if anyone ever asks 'Can you play Sims 4 on a laptop' then the answer is most likely yes.

Can you believe it? The Sims 4 is finally available for Macs! Getting the game up and running is simple, but there are just a few things you need to know.
You see, the Mac version of The Sims 4 is currently only available in digital form. That means, if you recently went to the store to buy a physical copy, you won’t be able to use that CD to install the game. Instead, you’ll have to install Origin, and download the game from there.
First, open up Safari or your web browser of choice and head to the origin.com/download page. Click on the tiny text that says “Download for Mac” underneath the orange button.
After installing and running the application, sign into Origin using your ID and Password. If you don’t have an Origin account at this point, you’ll have no choice but to create one.

- Open up the boxed copy of The Sims 4, and find the product code.
- On Origin, click on “Origin” in the top left corner and click on “Redeem Product Code“
